Hollywood isn’t gonna know what hit them in a few years. Xxngel Baby is a rapper, writer, and producer out of Washington state. She’s got the confidence and energy of a four-piece hip-hop crew despite being one body and mind. Her newest single Intrusive Thoughts is a testament to this power.
When you listen to Intrusive Thoughts, you’re hearing a badass party anthem designed by a single mind. Xxngel Baby puts a lot of work into her music. She even keeps a journal of all her work where others would have a diary. She’s still new to the scene, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t heard of. It is her overwhelmingly active social media presence and fan interaction that ultimately reveals her passion for creation and entertainment.
Intrusive Thoughts is one of the first two songs up on streaming services this year. Alongside Party & Bullshit, both of these tracks are bound to serve as a sturdy foundation for Xxngel Baby’s golden discography yet to come. Additionally, there’s a music video for Intrusive Thoughts on the way which can be previewed below.
“No hook, no monologuing. Just straight bars.” Intrusive Thoughts by Xxngel Baby
This track opens up quickly and proceeds to bump and flow without faltering. A one-person project basically succeeds when the individual running it can match the energy normally provided by multiple performers. As a clever writer, and with the help of Breadman at Studio Sage in Edmonds, Xxngel Baby nails this fact in hard.
Xxngel Baby takes inspiration from Beyonce, Rihanna, and Biggie Smalls among others. Respective R&B and rap qualities shine in this new song. R&B with a twist and bars with no B.S. constitute the blend of these inspirations in a way that makes this Washington state rapper shine in her own hue.

About Xxngel Baby
Raised by her mother alongside five other sisters, Xxngel Baby grew up to discover music as a valuable outlet in her life. Valuing education, reading, and working as a STEM student shapes her individuality and desire to stand on her own. This combined with constantly moving around and being labeled by her family as a sort of “problem child” all came to a climax when Xxngel Baby taught herself music production at the age of 20.
Music is an outlet for Xxngel Baby just as much as it is a passion. Tracks already out and those coming in the future talk about her aforementioned struggles in a way that is legitimate and pleasant to the ear. Be sure to keep an eye on this budding hip-hop star, as there’s more soon on the way.
