After a booming rap career within the past few years, NLE Choppa is ready to retire. The Memphis rapper is planning on leaving his music career behind to pursue a new business venture in health and wellness.
To many, this is a huge shock being his music career really just began in 2018. In fact, in just those few years he had garnered almost 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify. For fans, this may not come as a surprise after seeing all of the health and wellness advice he’s been sharing lately. His social media has become littered with information about holistic wellness, superfoods, growing a garden, and even anti-vaccine rhetoric.
NLE Choppa bought out his record label contract to pursue this new venture
Choppa has proven to be passionate about this new venture, taking it as far as buying out his music contract so he can pursue this full time. Back in January he worked things out with his label, promising that the music video he released then would be his last.
“Finna buy out my contract and become a full time herbalist. Forget the music stuff about to help my people!!” Wrote NLE Choppa on Twitter. He’s consistently touched on this topic also stating on social media, “Not only food or what you eat but herbs play a major roll in your diet. Your diet is the vaccine.”
NLE Choppa’s new company is called NLE Health & Wellness
He recently announced the launch of his health and wellness company on social media. He started an Instagram account with the handle @healthandwellnessnle which has a link in the bio leading to his products. Some of the products include seamoss, chlorophyl, and detox tea.
He also took it to Twitter to call out for influencers to promote his products by sending them a free care package.
While this new venture has gathered mixed reviews from fans and the industry alike, NLE Choppa seems happy and passionate about what he is pursuing.
