No disrespect to Eastern/Central Washington, but it seems like no big names come out from that area. I’ve always assumed there was great music out there that West Seattle would enjoy. Since music for me personally is spread through the word of mouth and through social media that I follow. So, a lot of smaller talent gets overlooked. Wanderers fits exactly into that description.
Wanderers is an alternative rock/hip-hop group out of Spokane. It’s a duo made up of Kosh and Billy, who describe themselves as a psychedelic alternative rap duo. Their music is a variety of sounds. “Humble Ways” is a very chill and laid-back hip-hop track, while “Decider” features a hard beat and complex production. Meanwhile, “As Above So Below” is reminiscent of Odd Future’s music.
I’m glad to see the emerging talent from Washington and will be rooting for Wanderers. Additionally, they are releasing an EP titled Hell Merry in September. So if you like their music, stay tuned!
