Gravity Bong = Yogurt?
In episode 2, there were lots of surprises; co-hosted by Top Chef winner chef Kristen Kish, viewers were taken aback when a gravity bong was pulled out. With it, also came a smoker attachment used to infuse Greek yogurt for a Mexican corn-inspired dish. Additionally, the aforementioned device is the iconic Stündenglass water bong–and it isn’t cheap; for around $600-800 you can pick one up this Christmas. The device has been popularized for its ability to produce voluminous smoke clouds with the use of gravity and water.
“We are thrilled to see Kristen Kish and Selena Gomez use Stündenglass in season 4 of Selena + Chef. To have world-renowned chefs and mixologists using it on TV is humbling and shows that a little innovation can go a long way toward de-stigmatization.”

Take a Look at the Stündenglass
The Recipe
Many viewers were hoping that Gomez and chef Kish would be using the Stündenglass to infuse cannabis into the yogurt; instead, they used it to burn wood chips and add smokiness and depth to the Greek yogurt.
Firstly, chef Kish had Gomez spread the yogurt over a flat plate in a thin layer to maximize the ingredient’s exposure to the smoke. After the smokey sauna session, the white yogurt had turned a toasty golden brown color, now extra flavorful and ready to be added to the dish.
Selena + Chef Season 4
This season, Selena Gomez heads to the beach, making ocean-inspired dishes with top chefs and a few funny mishaps along the way. Working with any chef in the kitchen can be a little intimidating to someone who doesn’t share as long of a culinary background but, Selena handles it like a champ. By working with greats such as Gordon Ramsey and Rachel Ray, you can see Selena learning more about the skills they have acquired over time–and you can learn along with her.
