NUG brings a fancy-free, feet in the grass, picnic in the park kind of feel to the world of cannabis. It is the very definition of “California living.” Everything is grown, extracted, and manufactured in the Golden State.
NUG says their cannabis products can help you become more “relaxed, balanced, and uplifted.” Their goal is to shift you right into a better place through the power of cannabis.
NUG Offers an Array of Products
There are so many NUG products available to try. Testing them out may feel like a whimsical choose-your-own-adventure. The packaging is colorful and playful with clear bold branding. There’s everything a cannabis lover could dream of. Choose from a variety of high-quality products, including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, vapes, and also edibles.
The brand showcases what feels like an endless array of choices from creamy chocolates and mouthwatering all-natural fruit candies, to extracts, gear, and also more. Additionally, the fruit chews boast potent rapid-onset relief due to proprietary technology. The unique variety gives off “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory” vibes.

The Quality Extends Past Products and Into the Community
We’re not the only ones who have noticed the quality. The brand boasts an award-winning lineup of cannabis products. Furthermore, their involvement in California isn’t just vibes and good weed. NUG also takes action to help their communities.
NUG supports Oakland’s social equity cannabis program which works to provide opportunities in the cannabis industry to city residents who were targeted by the war on drugs. Equity applicants are often low-income Oakland residents living in high crime areas. Moreover, many applicants are ex-convicts of cannabis-related crime.
NUG is Changing Lives
Furthermore, applicants who are approved become NUG’s social justice partners. As such, they receive funds and a state-of-the-art greenhouse that comes with light deprivation, motorized curtains, and also an irrigation system. All of this is provided rent-free to allow these partners to launch their own operations.
“It has been a privilege and an honor to provide a platform for these start-up businesses to thrive and flourish,” said NUG CEO and founder Dr. John Oram. “Our equity partners are catalysts for positive change in the City of Oakland and of cannabis policy as a whole. We look forward to watching their continued success.”
Needless to say, we’re a huge fan of NUG and their work, both in the cannabis field and the community.
