A prominent new era artist and one of the most impactful record labels in the history of the music industry are officially teaming up. NBA YoungBoy, aka YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Motown Records announced their joint venture together with Youngboy’s Never Broke Again LLC record label. Though NBA YoungBoy’s label has already been around the block, this partnership with Motown will help expand the company to new levels.
Motown already has a history of entrepreneurial partnerships. Naturally, they plan to continue this legacy further with the Never Broke Again venture. The label is known for discovering and leading some of the world’s largest and most talented artists, while impacting different cultures worldwide. NBA YoungBoy on the other hand is known for being one of the most talented hip-hop artists and creators of our generation. That’s not to mention the Baton Rouge rapper’s huge fanbase and die hard fans.
I felt like I had a responsibility to my artists to make sure to find the right partner for my label. I’m looking forward working with Ethiopia, Kenoe and Motown Records.

Never Broke Again LLC is led by Atlantic-signed NBA YoungBoy and Kyle “Montana” Clariborne. They both work to sign and develop artists, helping them down the path to success. The two will continue to lead the label, only Motown Records will be alongside to help as well.
NBA YoungBoy and Motown Record’s First Project to Release in October
The first project from the NBA YoungBoy and Motown will be a 16-track compilation titled Never Broke Again Volume 1. Featured artists include NBA Youngboy himself, as well as P Yungin, Meechy Baby, Quando Rondo, No Cap, Rjae and Rojay. This project is set to release as soon as October with singles leading up.
The CEO and Chairman of Motown Records, Ethiopia Habtemariam, also shares her excitement, “I’m excited to work with Never Broke Again, a homegrown brand that has created an incredibly authentic and credible movement that represents the next generation in Louisiana’s legacy of ground-breaking hip-hop labels.
