Because the legal cannabis industry is so new, education and training are certainly not as widespread as in most other industries. The majority of “cannaprenuers” come into the cannabis industry with zero formal training. They likely hold degrees in an unrelated area, or none at all. Additionally, many cannabis industry workers do come from related backgrounds such as horticulture or business; but nonetheless, likely no formal cannabis education. Blaze Responsibly is working to bridge that gap with their free cannabis education virtual event series this fall.
Free Cannabis Education Virtual Event by Blaze Responsibly
Blaze Responsibly dedicates itself to responsible cannabis consumption and business practices, as well as education and community outreach for consumers, entrepreneurs, and investors. The New Jersey-based company is teaming up with Cookies‘ Social Impact Program and the WebberWild Fund to make this event possible. The free virtual event will take place on October 9th and 10th from 10am to 3pm EST.
“New Jerseyans have to get ahead of the educational curve when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur in the cannabis space,” says the founder of Blaze Responsibly, Chirali Patel.
This event series will give anyone who attends the A, B, Cs of what opportunities are available in New Jersey with a breakdown on how to take advantage of these new opportunities.

Attendees Will Learn In-Depth About the New Jersey Cannabis Industry and More
Attendees will learn about all six license categories available. Additionally, they will go in depth on the step-by-step process of applying. There will also be networking opportunities, giving it a similar experience to an in-person conference.
Though the organization is New Jersey-based, anyone around the world may attend this virtual event. And though it is focused on the New Jersey cannabis industry, it’ll surely prove informational for those in different legal weed markets. Or who knows, it may even inspire you to get into the New Jersey cannabis industry specifically.
Over the recent years we have seen more and more colleges and universities start to offer cannabis education and/or degrees. But events like this make cannabis education immensely more accessible, and again, completely free. Education will be the base of what continues to move the cannabis industry forward in the country, and worldwide. Events like this certainly make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things.
