The Weeknd’s single “Blinding Lights” recently became the number one song on Billboard’s Greatest Songs of All Time Hot 100 Chart. To celebrate, Billboard, in partnership with The Infinite, released physical trading cards. Additionally, Autograph.io will release digital NFTs with The Weeknd for his milestone.
The Trading Cards
There are five different card designs each with two different foil colors. By buying a card, there’s a chance to receive a non-numbered card, a card foil numbered out of 500, a card foil numbered out of 100, a hand signed autograph card foil numbered out of 10, and a hand signed autograph card foil numbered one of one. Each pack includes one random trading card from the collection and an information card breaking down the chart data.
The cards are designed by trading card veteran Karvin Cheung and will cost $100 each. You can buy them now, but they don’t start shipping until February 1st of next year.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Billboard to highlight The Weeknd’s milestone, which will undoubtedly play a role in defining the future of music.”
