Connected Cannabis Co. is a California based brand that produces flower and operates five retail locations through their vertically integrated business. This brand prides itself on offering high-quality cannabis products in the form of flower and different kinds of cannabis concentrate like butane hash oil, CO2 and ethanol distillate, and rosin. The Lemon Fuel strain is cross between Chemdawg and Lemon OG, per Culture Magazine.
The eighth came packaged in a bag, which for me is in poor taste. Bags smash the flower, don’t seal properly, and aren’t recyclable — adding to the cannabis industry’s burgeoning litter problem. The cannabis itself is small round and fluffy nugs with two distinct shades of green a solid trichome shimmer. The flower has noticeable zesty lemon aromas.
The flower breaks down nice, sticky and fluffy, but not sticky enough to ruin a joint wrap. Notable lemon and floral flavors danced across my taste buds while burning through back-to-back bong bowls. But there was no heady sativa high that followed it like I would expect to form a Chemdawg offspring. The high was lackluster at best, even though the taste was wonderful. The packaging, presentation and overall experience were severely lacking from an eighth of weed that will run you over $40.
