Falling In Reverse Recruit Corey Taylor And Serj Tankian For New Single "Joseph"

Falling In Reverse Recruit Corey Taylor And Serj Tankian For New Single “Joseph”

Falling In Reverse are officially back with their first new song in more than a year, and they’ve brought two of rock and metal’s most recognizable voices with them. The band has released “JOSEPH,” featuring vocals from Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian. The collaboration marks the first time Taylor and Tankian have appeared together on the same song, bringing three major voices from different generations of heavy music onto one track.

JOSEPH” also begins another chapter for Falling In Reverse following a run of massive singles, collaborations, and the continued success of their 2024 album Popular Monster. The song is available to stream alongside an official music video directed by Jensen Noen, which features appearances from both Taylor and Tankian.

Falling In Reverse Bring Corey Taylor And Serj Tankian Together

Falling In Reverse have become increasingly comfortable building songs around unexpected collaborations, but “JOSEPH” takes that approach to another level. Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian have each spent decades developing recognizable vocal styles through Slipknot and System of a Down. Bringing them together with Ronnie Radke gives “JOSEPH” a lineup that crosses several corners and generations of modern rock and metal. The title also carries a personal connection to Falling In Reverse’s frontman. “JOSEPH” is Radke’s middle name.

The collaboration follows Falling In Reverse’s previous single “God Is A Weapon,” which featured Marilyn Manson. Released in 2025, the song has since accumulated more than 350 million streams and gained significant attention on TikTok. Before that, Falling In Reverse joined forces with Jelly Roll for 2024’s “All My Life.” That collaboration became another major commercial moment for the band, spending five weeks at No. 1 on rock radio while debuting at the top of multiple Billboard hard rock charts. “All My Life” also spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

Falling In Reverse Continue The Success Of Popular Monster

The new single arrives as Falling In Reverse continue building on the enormous reach of Popular Monster. Released in 2024, the album has now accumulated approximately four billion streams and is approaching platinum status. The record brought together several different periods of Falling In Reverse’s evolution, including songs such as “Popular Monster,” “ZOMBIFIED,” “Voices In My Head,” “Watch The World Burn,” and “Ronald.” Over the past several years, the band’s releases have increasingly moved between metal, rock, hip-hop, electronic production, and massive melodic choruses without remaining locked into one particular sound.

That unpredictability has also extended to their choice of collaborators. Jelly Roll, Marilyn Manson, Tech N9ne, Alex Terrible, and now Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian have all appeared alongside Falling In Reverse. “JOSEPH” pushes that approach into new territory by putting Taylor and Tankian on a song together for the first time. With their first new music in more than a year officially out, Falling In Reverse are starting their next chapter with one of their biggest collaborations yet.
