Hall of Flowers is bringing its Northern California cannabis trade show to Sacramento on November 4 and 5, 2026, with Cal Expo serving as the event’s new home. The two-day gathering will connect licensed retail buyers with cannabis brands, cultivators and businesses working across California’s legal market.
This year’s Sacramento edition includes a dedicated Craft Sungrown Showcase, an extensive exhibitor lineup and educational programming addressing issues such as trade credit, discounting and communicating a product’s value at retail. For attendees, the opportunity is to spend time with the people behind the products while discussing what it takes to get those products onto shelves and keep them moving.
As reported in Respect My Region’s initial Sacramento announcement, the move follows the show’s numerous years spent in Santa Rosa. The November dates give its Northern California edition a new setting for product discovery and wholesale conversations.
Hall of Flowers Sacramento Dates, Location and Hours
Hall of Flowers Sacramento takes place Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5, at Cal Expo Pavilion, located at 1600 Exposition Boulevard in Sacramento.
Show hours are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Attendees should review the official Hall of Flowers website before traveling for registration updates and arrival information.
The Sacramento-specific ticket page identifies the trade show as an industry-only event. Anyone planning to attend should confirm their pass category rather than assume a general event listing establishes admission.
For exhibitors and buyers, arranging meetings before arrival can help make the two days more productive. Leave room for discovery, but give existing accounts and priority contacts a clear time to connect.
California Cannabis Brands Fill the Sacramento Exhibitor Lineup
The confirmed Sacramento exhibitor list includes flower, concentrates, edibles, hardware, retail technology and other businesses supporting the cannabis industry.
Listed exhibitors include CAM, Fig Farms, Preferred Gardens, Seven Leaves, Coldfire Extracts, Halara, Kiva, Wyld, Grön, Good Tide and Space Gem. Treez, BLAZE, Flowhub, dutchie, Meadow and Nabis are also included, giving attendees opportunities to discuss retail operations and distribution alongside products.
Additional names include Pistil Peaks, Quiet Kings, Henry’s Original, Garcia Hand Picked, Talking Trees and Grove Bags. Exhibitor participation can change, so attendees should use the organizer’s current directory when planning meetings.
That variety gives buyers a reason to arrive with specific questions. A store reviewing its edible assortment will have different priorities from one looking for a new flower supplier or evaluating its operating systems.
The most useful conversations should connect the offering to an actual business need.
Craft Sungrown Showcase Puts Cultivators in Front of Buyers
One of Sacramento’s central additions is the Craft Sungrown Showcase, presented through Hall of Flowers and Budist.
In its showcase announcement, Budist describes a dedicated space for California craft sungrown producers, with retail buyers and budtenders encouraged to meet the participating businesses and explore their products.
For a cultivator, direct access to a buyer creates time to explain details that rarely fit into a wholesale menu: growing practices, the conditions of a season, genetic selections and the reasoning behind a particular release. With retailers, those details become valuable when they help staff explain the product to a customer.
A farm’s history can establish context, but the conversation also needs to cover freshness, packaging, availability and where the flower belongs in the store’s assortment. Buyers need to understand both the product and the support behind it.
The showcase creates a setting for those conversations to happen with the people who know the cultivation work firsthand.
Tactical Talks Address Pricing, Credit and Retail Storytelling
Hall of Flowers and Budist are also presenting six Tactical Talks, with three sessions scheduled each day. The announced program addresses decisions that affect buyers, brands and cultivators beyond the trade-show floor.
According to the published session schedule, the talks are included with a Hall of Flowers badge.
Wednesday’s program begins at noon with Show Me The Money, featuring Kraig Fox of Reklaim and Lauren Carpenter of Embarc on trade credit.
At 1 p.m., Eli Melrod of Solful and Lauren McNaughton of Nasha discuss discounting in The Race to the Bottom Is Ruining Your Business.
Craig Nejedly of Talking Trees leads the 2 p.m. private-label session.
Thursday’s topics cover lessons from wine at noon, communicating product stories at 1 p.m., and collaboration at 2 p.m. Announced participants include Budist’s Jocelyn Sheltraw and Claudio Miranda, B-Gunz, and JP of Good PizzZa.
For attendees, these subjects connect directly to the buying conversation. Pricing, payment terms and staff education all influence whether an initial order becomes an ongoing account.
Licensed Retail Buyers Can Apply for Complimentary Admission
Licensed retail buyers can apply for complimentary tickets through the Hall of Flowers retailer registration page, with access subject to verification.
The organizer requires an active retail license for consideration. Applicants preparing to open a store must provide a storefront building permit and city approval. Incomplete applications are not considered.
Buyers should complete registration before making travel plans and ensure each attending team member has the appropriate approval.
It is also worth deciding who should handle which conversations. An owner may focus on commercial terms, while a purchasing manager reviews assortment gaps and a staff educator considers how products will be presented at the counter.
Sharing those priorities beforehand can prevent a busy show from becoming a collection of disconnected introductions.
Sacramento Tickets and Industry Access
The Sacramento ticket page lists a November 5-only pass at $200 early bird or $295 standard, subject to availability. The page says this option is for people working in the industry and does not require an application.
A two-day industry pass is listed at $450 early bird and requires application and approval. The organizer specifies that this pass is reserved for verified operators and is not intended for agencies, service providers or solicitors. On-site solicitation and service pitching are prohibited under that category.
The Sacramento page explicitly identifies the event as industry-only. Attendees should follow those event-specific requirements when selecting a ticket.
What Brands Should Have Ready Before Hall of Flowers
A strong booth presentation should make it easy for a buyer to understand what happens after the introduction.
Brands should have current wholesale information, distribution details, order minimums and a clear explanation of available inventory. Anyone discussing payment terms should be able to explain them accurately and identify who will handle the account afterward.
Product education deserves the same preparation. The team should be able to explain who a product serves, how it differs within its category and what information a retailer needs to present it responsibly.
Follow-up should be specific. If a buyer requests a menu, introduction or training conversation, record the request and assign someone to complete it. The value of a promising meeting depends partly on how reliably the next step happens.
Hall of Flowers Sacramento Gives Retailers Time With the People Behind the Products
The Sacramento show brings product discovery, cultivation conversations and retail business education into the same two-day schedule.
For buyers, that creates an opportunity to look beyond packaging and ask more detailed questions. For brands and farms, it provides time to explain their work while learning what stores need from a supplier.
Attendees can review the official exhibitor directory as they build their meeting plans, then check registration requirements before heading to Cal Expo.
