Florida metalcore heavyweights Wage War have officially announced their new album, Landfall, arriving digitally on October 9 via Fearless Records.
The announcement continues a busy 2026 for Briton Bond, Cody Quistad, Seth Blake, Chris Gaylord, and Stephen Kluesener. Earlier this year, Wage War released their It Calls Me By Name EP before returning with “Sweet Dreams.” Now, the band is expanding that run into a new 13 track album.
Alongside the announcement, Wage War has released the album’s title track, “Landfall,” giving fans another look at the heavier direction surrounding the upcoming record. Fans can pre save Landfall here.

Wage War Unleash The Title Track “Landfall”
“Landfall” wastes little time establishing the atmosphere behind the new album. The song opens with an emergency broadcast style warning before dropping into a heavy, guitar driven attack built around crushing riffs, grooves, and Briton Bond’s screams. Cody Quistad’s melodic vocals provide another side of the track, particularly as “Landfall” moves into its chorus. That contrast lets Wage War shift between their heavier tendencies and the melodic side that has remained an important part of the band’s sound.
For the Florida natives, the imagery behind “Landfall” came from something especially familiar: hurricanes.
“Landfall” is a song about imminent danger and the realization that we aren’t in control,” Wage War shared. “Referencing our Florida roots, the hurricane imagery became a way of talking about that feeling of being completely at the mercy of something bigger than yourself.” The band wanted the verses to carry that sense of danger while allowing the chorus to feel more somber and inevitable.
Landfall Arrives October 9
The upcoming album will feature 13 tracks, including previously released songs “Sweet Dreams” and “Song Of The Swamp.” The record also introduces several new titles, including “Silk,” “Figure 8,” “God Complex,” “Stay With Me,” “Silence Has Spoken,” “Way Of Pain,” and more.
Landfall follows Wage War’s It Calls Me By Name EP, which arrived earlier this year and helped kick off what has become another active year for the band. Find the full track list for “Landfall” below:
