Wana Brands And The Green Solution Turn Summer Tour To Pop-Up Vaccination Clinics In Colorado

Wana Brands And The Green Solution Turn Their Summer Tour Into Pop-Up Vaccination Clinics In Colorado

Wana Brands and The Green Solution team up with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to give the people in their communities a chance to receive the COVID-19 vaccination through pop-up vaccination clinics.

This wasn’t the intention for edibles manufacturer, Wana Brands, and Colorado’s The Green Solution dispensary chain when the tour launched. The Summer of Quick Tour started at the beginning of July. The plan was to celebrate summer without lockdown and bring awareness to Wana’s Quick Fast-Acting Gummies. However, with more information coming out about the Delta variant of COVID-19, Wana suggested to The Green Solution that they should turn some of the stops of the Summer of Quick Tour into pop-up vaccination sites.

Wana Brands Team Up With The Green Solution

Their idea was to give access to the vaccine to people coming in and out of the dispensaries. According to the CEO of The Green Solution, Steve Lopez, many people aren’t getting vaccinated because of the inconvenience of going somewhere out of the way. The two companies were already partnered in the Summer of Quick Tour. Additionally, The Green Solution boasts 23 locations, making them the perfect venue to host these pop-up vaccination sites.

Both companies felt that they were doing what they could to help keep their communities safe by providing ease of access to the vaccine. Kim Gibson, a territory account manager for Wana Brands said, “becoming vaccinated not only serves our local community but also [Colorado] state as a whole.”

Success for Wana Brands and The Green Solution

The two cannabis brands held 3 clinics, called the “Vaccine Edition” of the Summer of Quick Tour. The “Vaccine Edition” happened between August 7 through August 9 at The Green Solution’s Edgewater, Aurora, and Northglenn locations.

The Red Rocks Amphitheater did something similar back in May. The success of the “Vaccine Edition” has led other Colorado dispensary groups to contact the people at Wana to see if they would participate in similar events. There haven’t been any confirmations yet, but Gibson says Wana is looking over all opportunities.
