I remember when I first heard about Tyler The Creator a couple years back, some time after he released Cherry Bomb. I heard about him because of his explicit lyrics, eccentric personality, and wild stage performance. Back then, I didn’t understand Tyler, and only saw him as an artist doing wild things for the attention. Fast forward to a couple years later, he has evolved and progressed not only as an artist, but also as a person. He became a well-rounded artist that’s involved in more than just music.
He has released multiple collections for his own fashion brand, Golf Wang, and even had his first runway show in 2016 to show off his new collection. Tyler used to collaborate with Vans on limited editions shoes, and in 2017 he started collaborating with Converse on a “Golf le fleur” line (as he advocates for the bees).

Tyler also ventured into the entertainment industry as he was given his own show, “Nuts + Bolts”‘ on Viceland and works closely with Adult Swim.

His latest album, “Flower Boy” shows a side of Tyler The Creator that no fan has seen before in his music. It was full of honesty, delicacy, and emotions. His shows have become less about what crazy acts he was going to do, focusing more on the music he plays and what you feel during his set. Tyler The Creator isn’t afraid to step into unknown grounds and wade in strange waters. He’s all about experimentation and breaking boundaries.
If you’re going to be at Sasquatch, don’t miss his set! Information about the festival can be found on their website, and the festival schedule will be released soon.
