Towkio dropped his debut album WWW. a couple days ago from space, literally. I could hear the difference in style and artistic growth since his last EP, Community Service II. The Chicago rapper has outdone himself with this album, creating what I would call a musical and artistic masterpiece.
Watch the recap video of Towkio making history and dropping his album from space:
The last EP, Community Service II was exclusively a hip-hop project. However, WWW. is a melting pot of styles, and Towkio has stepped out of his regular sound to experiment with new ones. New sounds are always a risk for artists, but it’s also a sign of growth. So, I applaud Towkio for taking this step.
WWW. has been co-signed by a lot of major artists and important people if you’re looking for a reason to give this album a chance. Tokwio has been making waves in the music industry and gotten features in a lot of the top music sites such as XXL, Complex, Noisey, Highsnobiety, and Billboard.

An album wouldn’t be possible without the help of producers, and Towkio had a solid crew assisting him. “2 Da Moon” and “Loose” was produced by Louis the Child, and Knox Fortune produced “Disco,” and co-produced “Alone,” “Drift,” and “Forever.” The album was executively produced by Lido, another talented artist, and producer.
My personal favorites (in no particular order) from the album are Swim, Symphony, CNTRL, Forever, and Hate to Love (but Lose Me deserves an honorable mention).
Listen to the album below, and the music videos for Symphony and Drift are out as well.
