December was a hectic month with a stressful three weeks of teaching between Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation. Despite the additional chaos, I was still able to smoke some amazing weed strains and tour a farm. There are four strain reviews that stood out to me the most this month.
The following is a short list of the strains I reviewed that I believe people should try in 2018. Sour Diesel from THC Farms, Blackberry Kush from Seattle’s Private Reserve, and Sunset Sherbert from Willie’s Reserve.
Not only was the smoke on these four strains amazing, but writing the reviews was too. The unique qualities of each of these strains from these producers made for a unique experience.
Sour Diesel – THC Farms
Sour Diesel is one of my all time favorite strains. THC Farms grows a high-quality Sour Diesel without breaking the bank. That patent diesel smell immediately greets your nose when you open the bag. Everything about their Sour Diesel exceeds expectations and I believe their product will only get better in 2018. You can read about Sour Diesel from THC Farms here.
Blackberry Kush – Seattle’s Private Reserve
This Indica dominant hybrid is not only visually appealing, but the smoke and smell are also near perfect. A potent berry smell is released immediately when you open the packaging. That smell carries directly over into the flavor. A deep purple frost covered the dense nugs. You can read about Blackberry Kush from Seattle’s Private Reserve here.
Sunset Sherbert – Willies Reserve
A strain deserving of the person whose name resides on the label. Sunset Sherbert from Willies Reserve is an Indica strain with genetics from a variety of different parent plants. This stain blew me away. I was locked to my couch unable to function. The smell of the bud was extremely potent. The flavor was wonderful and the product did not fall apart in my hands as I broke it apart. One of the freshest products I had the opportunity to smoke all month.
