Saturday was a big day for many of the Washington ski resorts, and probably ski resorts all over the United States. I had been obsessively checking the weather report for Crystal Mountain since I read about a large amount of snow they were supposed to get at the beginning of the week.
In my opinion, weed and skiing go together. I did not want to risk taking a pipe up the mountain in my pocket; pre-rolls seemed like the way to go. Joints tend to run or not burn very well at all, so I wanted an alternative. While I was browsing the online menu for The Evergreen Market I noticed pre-rolled blunts were on their menu. I placed my order so I could pick them up after work.
Both pre-rolled blunts came in plastic tubes that felt durable enough to withstand a potential crash into the hard snow. Both strains are indica dominant hybrids. Perfect for forgetting about the pain in my legs and zoning in on the snow under my feet. With my Banana Kush blunt and Dutch Treat blunt carefully packed away into my bag. I was ready for a day in the snow.
The snow was absolutely perfect. I smoked both blunts at various points during my day. I’m extremely pleased with how well they smoked. They hardly ran and they never stopped hitting well. I could have just been lucky.
Both blunts were full of flavor. Indica hybrids will be my go-to strain for a day on the mountain. Not once did I feel the paranoia that I occasionally feel with sativa’s. I was focused and relaxed the entire time I was on the mountain. But by the end of the second blunt the pain in my legs was too much. Nothing was going to help me forget about it.
You can find Pre-Rolled Blunts from Top Shelf at all Evergreen Market locations and The Stash Box in Auburn, WA.
