Don’t let this event fly under your radar, New Englanders. Terptown Throwdown is a Spencer-based cannabis, art, and music festival with it’s own Cannabis Awards Ceremony. Their inaugural event the other year was also the first east coast cannabis event to permit use of cannabis on-site. The founders of this festival continue, still, to dedicate their work to making Terptown a real and enjoyable cannabis event.
On August 20th through 21st at the Spencer Fairgrounds near Boston, brands will be showcasing products, tons of artists are lined up, and Terptown’s own Home Grown Cannabis Awards Ceremony will determine some crucial info about the best products in the state. Hit the links at the bottom for tickets and resources. We’ve got a lot to dive into here, so we’ll start with the lineup.

Artists Performing at Terptown Throwdown
Headliners Collie Buddz, The Movement, Fortunate Youth, and Iya Terra are going to own these nights for sure. The last event set a reggae precedent for Terptown Throwdown, and it doesn’t seem like a single person had an issue with that. The notion of a festival with a roots lineup like this where you can safely spark up a joint is exciting in concept, let alone in practice.
Plenty of other names are also on the line up. Some to note include Soul Rebel Project, Tropidelic, and Joe Sambo. You can access a full playlist of Terptown Throwdown music on Spotify by clicking here.
Terptown Throwdown’s “Home Grown Cannabis Awards”
In a still “budding” cannabis industry, any award is a good thing to have. Terptown Throwdown is having its very own regional awards ceremony, likely with this same thought in mind. They’re giving out awards to participating companies that present a non-solvent, solvent, edible, pre-roll, tincture, flower, or drink to the judges on Intake Day.
That day was July 18th, so it’s likely that they have already collected all their contestants. Nonetheless, you can see the requirements for each category by clicking here.
Tickets and Sponsors for Terptown Throwdown
Last year’s Terptown Throwdown had some awesome speakers and panels lined up, including x and x from Beard Bros Pharms.
