Respect My Region had the opportunity for the second year in a row to join tens of thousands of people and make the trip into the Kootenays to Salmo, BC for one of the greatest weekends ever. The 22nd edition of Shambhala Music Festival went off without a hitch and only (some) rain. Without further ado, here’s the first edition of our official 2019 Shambhala Music Festival photo recap.
We can’t thank the staff and artists enough for treating us like family and making all of our experiences enjoyable. The festival grounds on the farm are truly unique and one of a kind. Everything at this festival has a special, hand-made nature to it. From the moment you set foot on a stage, you feel taken away to somewhere akin to Neverland.
As it was my own first time attending the festival, there was so much to take in. I’m happy to have had the pleasure of several veterans touring me around the best parts of the festival. Here are some of the more special parts that I felt were important to share first.

Spag Heddy At The Village Stage
Spag Heddy’s set was out of this world. I was going crazy throughout as he came with only heavier drops each time. You could tell that he was working with new material at times, and it was sick to hear what may soon come out on a formal recording.

Zhu At The Pagoda
Zhu came out in a super slick way that you might expect a notorious super villain. With no opening sentiments he began spinning and threw the crowd up into a frenzy as the night took over. He truly brought out the creature in everyone earlier on in the festival weekend.

And believe us, this was just the surface! Stay tuned for the next round of magical photos.
