In just a few days, Rezz will be stopping in Seattle for her Certain Kind of Magic tour. The show is on September 29th at WaMu theater and is sold out at extended capacity (about 9,000 attendees). The dance and electronic music communities in Seattle are turning up for this show, and it’s bound to blow the roof off of WaMu.
Rezz’s Certain Kind of Magic is a must-listen if you haven’t heard it already. Trippy, bass-thumping tracks stack this album, woven with creative synth work and experimental noise sampling. Rezz’s style of music is completely unique to her; you’d be hard-pressed to find another artist with her talent for the unusual, and her confidence in her creative voice.
Rezz’s fans, appropriately named “The Cult of Rezz” (or, “The Cult”), turn up with positive vibes wherever she performs. Among other eccentric activities, Rezz and her fans have a reputation of chugging water at random times throughout the day (announced through the Rezz Twitter). A young and energetic crowd, you can be sure to look forward to the fanbase’s good vibes for the show in Seattle.
The official tickets for the Seattle stop on the Certain Kind of Magic tour are completely sold out, but you can find them for resale on StubHub and SeatGeek.
We’ll be doing a recap of the performance after the weekend, so stay tuned. We’ll see you at the show!
