The indie pop band Heartracer just released a new single earlier this month. “All at Once” is a feel-good track that has hints of 80’s dance vibes mixed in with electronic sounds. The catchy beats mixed in with Chris’ [lead singer] clean vocals make it a great summer jam. The track is produced by Andrew Lappin, who has worked with Passion Pit, St. Lucia, and more.
Heartracer is a band based out of Virginia, formed by Chris and Chip Cosby. They found their name after Chris was diagnosed with tachycardia, which is a disorder that causes his heart to beat faster at random. That was the inspiration behind their name, Heartracer. The band has worked hard this year to put out new music. They flew out to LA for two and a half weeks to record five songs while eating In-n-Out Burgers and spending hours in Sunset Sound Studios. One of the fruitful products that resulted in this single.
All At Once – Heatracer
“All at Once” is a perfect mix of 80s nostalgia with modern day electronic pop. The honest lyrics paired with vulnerable emotions helps the listener resonate with the song and the meaning behind it. With such an amazing track, we can only wonder what the next project Heartracer puts out will be like.
