I woke up this morning with the urge to get stoned and go find a new place to eat breakfast. After going through my weed supply, I settled on Purple Trainwreck from Cascadia Gardens. This indica dominant hybrid is a cross between GrandDaddy Purple and Trainwreck.
The buds have hints of purple with a darker green and are completely covered in white trichomes. When I cracked open my first nug for my morning bowl I was pleasantly surprised by a rich berry smell that immediately filled my nose as I got my bong ready.
The nugs broke up easily and appeared to be slightly dry. I could feel small pieces of weed sticking to my fingers as I broke a piece off to load. The marijuana smoked extremely well. My bowl burned slow and held onto its flavor while I continued to take bong rips. When I was done smoking I could tell that my body had loosened up and was more relaxed than it had been.
Now I was hungry and ready to go get food. I was planning on joining some friends at the Sunbreak Cafe near my apartment and as I got closer the munchies started to kick in, it was a perfect timing. I found myself spacey while we waited in line to be seated, but the smell coming out of the kitchen was amazing. I was able to hold a conversation but found myself staring outside at the snow and rain mixture that was coming down. Purple Trainwreck is a perfect strain for a breakfast adventure as you get the relaxed indica feeling with the focus from the sativa side of the weed.
