Lola Brooke (feat. 41) – “Becky”

Starting off strong with Becky by Lola Brooke to get you out ya lover’s funk. Whether its that infectious beat made by Johnny Bravo and Reefa, the hype lyrics between Brooke and the 41 collective or the hypnotic visuals, you’re bound to forget about that heartbreak and rock ya hips to a new sound. 41, consists of Jenn Carter, Kyle Richh and TaTa, on their own each are a force to be reckoned with in the new Drill era. With the chorus and hard hitting versus from our rap diva Lola Brooke, it’s a match made in NY heaven.

Kitty Ca$h (feat. Thundercat & James Fauntleroy) – “Time Machine”

Whether you’re looking to take that solo trip or a road trip with loved ones for the weekend, this is one of the best tracks to add to your car playlist for an ethereal ride. There’s no hard hitting lyrics, just vocals, chorus and vibes from Thundercat and James Fauntleroy with visuals from Kitty Ca$h on a hot air balloon. This psychedelic funky beat is perfect to kick back, relax and enjoy the ride to.

Ariana Grande (feat. Mariah Carey) – “yes, and?”

Finally, the collaboration we’ve been waiting for for years! Ariana Grande finally teamed up with the original Hip-hop and R&B Diva, Mariah Carey. Despite releasing the music video just a month before it hit music streaming platforms, the single came in right on time, just a few days shy of Valentines. Miss Carey’s vocals are still strong and ranging like Cher in the recording booth in her 70’s. From the Vogue-like beat to the visuals, the whole track feels reminiscent of early Madonna from the 1990’s. Get out your Valentines blues and get back into your main character element with this track!

Conway The Machine and Joey Bada$$ – “Vertino”

Next up in our HMF list we got the single Vertino by Conway the Machine and Joey Bada$$. After Unique’s character was allegedly killed off in Raising Kanan, Joey Bada$$ reappeared in the booth like he never left. Collaborating with Buffalo’s finest, Conway The Machine, the ensemble resulted in a grimy NY melody. Regardless of how you’re feeling post V-day this track is made to reaffirm your inner Bada$$.

N3WYRKLA (feat. Brent Faiyaz) – “Not Enough”

Not enough is a sensual, slow rock track that will surely put you in your feels and have you reminiscing on the good times and bad times with your ex. The upcoming artist N3wyrkla hits the pavement with her new album “its not you, its me” following the release of her last single earlier in the month “it don’t hit no more,”. To tie the track together, she teamed up with the sensual devil himself Brent Faiyaz to create a melodic track, thats perfect for slow dances, solo sessions, or just to roll up and spark to.

Karol G (feat. Tiesto) – “Contigo”

This titillating track is reminiscent of Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. The visuals illustrate the intimate moments between lovers, whether its laying up in bed taking polaroids of each other, or wrapped in each others arms on the edge of the world.

This track captures the genderless and universal love and passion between partners who found love in the middle of a dance, before parting in a high school bathroom, leaving only a small locket entwined in black ribbon with a message as an emblem of the love they shared. This breathtaking love story was written and directed by Pedro Artola and Karol G.

MIKE – “R&B”

It’s big mf MIKE, and he’s back with producer Tony Seltzer to create this late 90’s R&B stylized track. In contrast to some of the other songs on this list, his track embodies that true y2k nostalgia from the clothes and visuals to the lyrics. His abstract flow meshes perfectly with the essence of the track, making it smooth as butter. This song is perfect for the lovers that enjoy y2k and underground/alternative hip-hop.

Sleepy Hallow – “Cupid’s Guidance”

This high-octane track delivers hard-hitting beats and infectious rhymes that will have you nodding your head from start to finish.
