In contrast, I Will Forever Be Act 2 album has 12 songs; featuring Rose the Mermaid, Dubbygotbars, Stillmarka and even Jehry Robinson, who is signed with Strange Music. The song “Father Figure,” is dedicated to PIVE’s dad who passed in June of this year. First released as a single, this catchy, yet somber-sounding track conveys gratitude for his dad for always believing and uplifting him in life. To further convey the deep meaning in the track, the official music video featured flashes of pictures and videos of him and his father interacting before he passed. Many viewers felt moved by the video. Several people filled the comment section with support for the song’s message and impact.
Since the album’s release, it’s been featured in huge publications like Thisis50, SessionsWithJas, Hype Magazine, and now, Respect My Region; leaving listeners wondering: what’s next? PIVE’s upcoming projects include a Halloween-themed track, coming out October 14th, called “The Upside Down.” As you can probably guess, the song is based on the Netflix show, Stranger Things. However, in the track, he raps about turning the rap world upside down.
If you are interested in listening to the album you can find it on Spotify and YouTube along with many of PIVE’s other music.
