A wide variety of options are available in the i502 market and some of these companies have created unique strain names.The last strain from Hang Roots that I smoked was 9 Pound Hammer, and that was a truly delicious strain. My previous experience with 9 Pound Hammer made me eager to smoke Pez, although I must admit that I did think I was buying a weed shaped Pez dispenser or some THC infused Pez candies when I first saw the name on The Evergreen Market’s menu.
Even though I wasn’t purchasing real Pez candies, I was ready for a cannabis-infused trip down memory lane.
Hang Roots did not disappoint. Even through my congested sinuses, I was able to notice a piney smell. I believe it would have been more powerful had I been able to actually use my nose properly. A deep green covered the buds with dark, almost brown hairs surrounding the nugs. The weed did not break apart in my hand and the taste was very noticeable as I took my first bong rip.
A mellow feeling overcame me as I relaxed into my couch. Wind and rain pounded my windows and I found myself lost in the rhythm they were creating. I shut off the Monday Night Football game and melted into the cushions of my couch listening to the combination of Dirty Girl by Felt and the rain hitting my roof. The munchies never came so I feel like this would not be a strain to smoke when planning for turkey day. Pez would probably work great for unwinding after a day filled with holiday chaos.
