The event definitively showcased how tech and creativity are reshaping the cannabis and psychedelics industries, providing leaders with a dynamic space to connect and innovate. People were drawn into thought-provoking conversations that dared to imagine the future of cannabis and psychedelics. 

Minorities in Cannabis 

We Uber to The strip to Shops at Crystals, next door to Aria. The 3rd Annual Minorities in Cannabis MJBizCon 2024 Edition brought together minority, women, and veteran operators for meaningful connections. Events like these actively advance inclusivity, equity, and representation within the cannabis industry.

There was a DJ, a photo booth, an open bar, and tons of conversations about what was going on in the industry, all sponsored by Active.

Day 3: Amplifying Voices

Joey and Abel continued their insightful interviews at the Treez booth, deepening our focus on innovation and uncovering even more groundbreaking advancements in the cannabis industry. While RMR shines the spotlight on local stories, companies like Treez transform how cannabis businesses operate with tools like dynamic point-of-sale systems and real-time analytics. These innovations boost efficiency, streamline processes, and unlock growth opportunities across the entire industry.

Going beyond the surface, the team spotlighted the influential voices shaping the cannabis industry’s future while delivering insights you can act on today. After the interviews, we took a quick trip to Planet 13.

Day 3 radiated with empowerment and progress, with the Nevada Women in Cannabis Panel at Planet 13 standing out as the highlight. Presented by Good Life Gang, Future4200 Community, and BeardBros Pharms, this inaugural event showcased achievements like the launch of Nevada’s first licensed consumption lounges and advocacy efforts that passed groundbreaking cannabis legislation in the state. Shelbie Vasquez hosted the panel, which included powerhouse speakers like:

Dani Baranowski: Co-founder of the Chamber of Cannabis, advocating for progressive policies and brand growth.

Tina Ulman: Co-founder of the Chamber of Cannabis, instrumental in legislative wins like consumption lounge legalization.

Sara Stewart: Co-founder of Ritual Cannabis Hospitality, a trailblazer in licensed cannabis lounges and one of the original members of Lowell Cafe in West Hollywood, CA.
