Three of hip-hop’s most prized weirdos joined forces a few months back to release what is arguably one of 2023’s finest records. It was evident from the start that fans wouldn’t settle for a one-punch collaboration between rappers MIKE and Wiki spitting over beats by producer extraordinaire, the Alchemist.
Thankfully, the cross-generational trio blessed the hip-hop domain with the 10-part package, Faith Is A Rock. Released in late September, the LP has since made waves in the independent space and beyond, and the three-piece is now ready to bring said tracklist to life in front of an audience.
On Thursday (November 30), MIKE, Wiki and the Alchemist will play their first show together at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. Co-presented by PLEASURES and Pabst Blue Ribbon, the event will also feature local hardcore warriors Zulu as well as post-hardcore/shoegaze missionaries Cold Gawd.

When the rapper-producer triad released the One More EP in 2022, their stock as a combined force immediately skyrocketed. Pairing two of the New York underground’s most promising barmen with a studio chef who has groomed countless MCs over the years was seen as a winning formula by many, prompting them to get back inside the studio together.
Thanks to the high demand, they are now set to take the stage for their debut performance later this month. Make sure you’re there, and stay tuned for Respect My Region’s exclusive coverage on the show!
