For youtube users who love interview-based shows like Hot Ones or Carpool Karaoke, it is always exciting to see people you respect being featured. One man whose career and personality have effectively earned him the respect of his fans is Marshawn Lynch, who recently appeared on Kevin Hart’s show “Cold as Balls.” Through the episode, Lynch touched on a few memorable aspects of his life, career, and experiences.
A Legendary NFL Player
At the start of his 12 years in the NFL, Marshawn Lynch made a name for himself early on. On Cold as Balls, Lynch spoke about his experience receiving a handwritten letter from the NFL as just a sophomore. Not was this a huge honor, but the fact that he got it so young was unheard of.
Marshawn Lynch spent most of his career with the Seattle Seahawks where he went on to compete in the 2015 Superbowl and was named Superbowl MVP. Unfortunately, this game was infamously known for the game-throwing interception that occurred after the Seahawks opted to throw the ball instead of letting Lynch run the single yard that was needed to win the game.
During the Cold as Balls interview, Marshawn Lynch talked about his confusion after the call. Walking off the field, Lynch describes his initial reaction as being “Blase Blase”. Then, the confusion started to set in and with it the shock at the loss. The rest of the night was flowing with Hennessy for Beast Mode.
Marshawn Lynch: Respect on Sight
Fans of Lynch were more than happy to see him on Cold as Balls. The comment section on the video was filled with statements like “When Marshawn Lynch speaks, it don’t matter who you are…You listening”. Another user commented: “Marshawn has to be the most universally loved football player in the last like 50 years. Nobody dislikes this dude,” and more.
From the NFL to his cannabis line Dodi Blunts, Marshawn Lynch has earned respect across industries.
