A Review of Marley Natural’s Lemonade

Even before I started smoking weed I would jam out to Bob Marley with my dad. The last name Marley holds some good memories both before and after discovering weed. I was excited to have the opportunity to test out their Lemonade strain this weekend.

A Sativa sounded perfect to smoke while enjoying the Sounders match. Marley Natural does a lot of positive things in Jamaica according to their website. Do not let this review of their product deter you from supporting them. This is just my opinion and I’m hoping I just got a bad batch.

Lemonade from Marley Natural

Lemonade is a $45 eighth that at first looks very good. There was a potent citrus smell when I opened the bag. Deep green with hints of purple nugs fell into my hand. At this point I was no longer worried about the price tag. I picked a few good nugs out for some bong rips, and started to feel disapointed after that.

I was breaking them up to load into my bowl when I realized that they were dry. Not just a little dry, but crumbling in my hands dry. They fell apart into smaller chunks. The high was not memorable. Each rip was harsh from the start to the beginning and there was not a lot of flavor. I understand the need to price accordingly, but with a $45 an eighth, I expect higher quality weed.
