According to Ganjapreneur.com, a spokesperson for the LCB has recommended felony charge(s) for Dank’s Wonder Emporium’s operation of an illegal marijuana club. Dank’s is generally regarded by the industry as one of Washington’s “coolest” cannabis brands thanks to their show, “Chronicast“.
The Olympian reported that undercover officers had visited the Lacey, WA dispensary and were offered the opportunity to go upstairs and try cannabis before buying it. The cannabis retail space is currently still open and located below the business suite that was raided back in October.
Per The Olympian,
“Licensees are also required to trace their products from production to sale, and the report alleges Dank’s was diverting products to be given out as free samples.”
“Vaughn said upstairs is an office for his film production company and the samples were purchased to be consumed there.”
“It’s a separate premises, it’s a separate business…” Vaughn said. “They did a raid on a separate business and now we’re being held accountable.”
Vaughn Carpenter, the owner of Dank’s Wonder Emporium has stated that he will fight the charges.
