Who is Feid?
Salomon Villada Hoyos, known as Feid, was born on August 19, 1992, and was raised in an artistic environment. His father, a professor of art history at the University of Antioquia, instilled in him a creative mindset from a young age. Inspired by his parents, Feid cultivated a passion for visual arts, honing his skills in the field.
During college, he chose to pursue a reggaeton career, starting his songwriting journey in 2008. Working with Medellin’s top producers like Sky, Mosty, and Bull Nene, he stayed behind the scenes, writing and producing for artists like Alberto Stylee, Nicky Jam, and Wolfine. With over 150 songs to his credit, including hits like Reykon’s “Secretos” and J Balvin’s “Ginza,” he received an ASCAP Latin music award for his co-writing contributions.
Since the release of his debut album in 2015 Fied has gained a massive following with over 17.6 billion streams and peaking as a #6 global artists on Spotify. With collaborations with top reggaeton artists such as Bad Bunny, Yandel, Peso Pluma, Karol G, Ozuna, Zion y Lennox and more.
