Looking for more cannabis-related events in Florida? Me too! That’s why I’m excited to attend the first KushCon ever in Tampa Bay, Florida; it is a trade show, educational opportunity, and networking event, all wrapped up into one.
KushCon Tampa
KushCon is Florida’s Largest Hemp, CBD, and Wellness Trade Show, and will take place on August 6th and 7th from 10 AM to 5 PM. Continue reading to learn more about the event and get your tickets.
Trade Show
At the trade show, attendees can browse more than 400 booths from leading hemp brands. Some of the exhibitors you can see there include, Hydoze, Sun Jane, Owls Oil, Slumpd, Flowerz, and more. Additionally, sponsors for the event include Method Testing labs, Kush.com, Budzburn Inc, and other prominent hemp-focused companies.
Speakers & Sessions
If you have an educational pass, you can learn from the 100+ sessions that will include opinions and research from professionals within Florida’s hemp industry. Here you can network with distributors and retailers all weekend, and meet other like-minded business people in the space. Some of the people you will see in the sessions include the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, and Ed Rosenthal of NASA, among many more intelligent minds of today.

Tickets & Afterparty
There are four types of tickets you can buy including a single-day, two-day, educational, and VIP pass. While the first two tickets will allow you to browse the trade floor, the educational pass will allow you to do that and gain access to sessions hosted by leading cannabis professionals. Additionally, the VIP pass will allow attendees to browse the trade floor, attend the afterparty, and have special VIP access to the educational sessions. With a VIP pass, you also have a chance to get backstage access, a chance to meet the band, free food and drinks, and so much more.
The Afterparty will take place on Saturday, featuring the Electric Avenue 80’s MTV Experience. While listening to the lively music you can try CBD beverages, hang out at the bar, and enjoy concessions. The party will take place on the outdoor patio of the Tampa Convention Center, kicking off at 6 PM featuring live music starting at 7 PM; the party should end around 10 PM to 11 PM.
