The Khalifa Kush strain was originally bred by Berner from Cookies early on in his brand’s career. Berner said that Wiz fell in love with a particularly pungent and robust cut of OG Kush he’d been growing. So, he gave it to him. In an interview with Hot97, Berner said that Wiz told him he had to have this cut for his own. He didn’t want anyone else to have it. So, Berner then helped him set up the brand in Las Vegas with another partner who did the logo and branding. The rest was history.
This is, in fact, the same OG Kush that’s used for crossing several of the other timeless Cookies strains. One of which includes their infamous GSC.
