EDM fans, rejoice: JOYRYDE is finally back with his new Skrillex collaboration, a track called “AGEN WIDA.” The explosive house-style banger is exactly the kind of drop JOYRYDE’s fans were hoping for after his long hiatus. Skrillex has been sparse with new releases lately as well, so this new track is a win for fans of both dance artists.
“AGEN WIDA” combines some of the best elements of both artists. JOYRYDE fans will recognize his playful sampling in some of the sounds mixed in throughout. Skrillex fans will love the fast-paced energy found in the drums, and the intense drops throughout.
The title is a play off of the vocal sample, which has the phrase “‘Cause I hit ’em with a,” then, “Again with the.” The title “AGEN WIDA” is a distortion of the phrase “again with the.”
This track is the first from JOYRYDE’s upcoming album Brave, which is slotted for release on November 30th. If the album is anything like this latest release, it’s sure to be a treat.
