Green Revolution produces cannabis products that are enjoyed in every way that doesn’t involve inhaling smoke or vapor into your lungs. You may have known them as Ethos in the earlier days of I-502. Muscle melt is a topical designed for pain management and is part of their Relief line.
The muscle melt is a goopy consistency unless you keep it in the refrigerator, which I suggest. I spilled some on my rug when I opened it, it sloshed over the side. Once it cools down in the fridge, it becomes a butter consistency and becomes much better for handing.
This topical has an interesting smell that I can’t put my finger on. The ingredients are a combination of their sun-grown Co2 cannabis oil, organic coconut seed oil, castor oil, organic capsicum oil, and CSP cannaderma full-plant extract blend.
Muscle melt won’t make you feel high when you apply it, but there’s something to this cannabis-infused topical. I applied a good amount across my back and shoulders. Two or three minutes after the topical has soaked into your skin, you feel a warm tingling that is like an itch. It’s a feeling that people may be familiar with if they’ve ever taken pain medication after tooth surgery. It’s nowhere near the feeling of an opioid, but the warming sensation is vaguely reminiscent of that feeling.
After about 10 minutes of applying the Muscle Melt, my back and shoulders were looser and a lot of the annoying post-workout muscle aches subsided and I noticed it helped my posture while I was writing. I easily relaxed my shoulders and pushed my chin back to align my spine more correctly as I typed away for a late night work session.
This topical is in no way a replacement to real recovery work like stretching, massage, and mobility work, but it can be a vital tool when worked in with a proper body management and recovery protocol. It’s also good for common bumps, bruises, and body aches brought on by daily wear and tear.
