While many festival goers opt to bring their own consumables/drugs, some want to take them at the sets inside. Usually, events only allow alcohol to be consumed there and so some risk getting caught to live up their weekend. However, at Grass Lands, cannabis consumers can have their desired experience without having to bring their own products through the gates.

Grass Lands At Outside Lands
Overall, this year’s Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco was a blast, featuring headline performances from Post Malone, Green Day, Illenium, Mac Demarco, Disclosure, and Pussy Riot, among others. However, it wasn’t just the music that made this year’s event highly successful; it was also the inclusion.
A trend has formed on the west coast, where you can legally consume and purchase cannabis at festivals. Outside Lands Festival is one of the latest festivals to allow this, with Grass Lands. The specially crafted area is located south of the Polo Fields at Golden Gate Park and offers its 21 and older attendees to purchase, consume and learn more about the local cannabis industry. Grass Lands was first seen at the San Francisco festival in 2018, and has since expanded to include a new stage inside one of its consumption areas. This way, people can consume cannabis, watch entertainment, and still be a part of the festival in another way.
Embarc
This year, Embarc powered Grass Lands. They are a multi-location cannabis dispensary chain that runs a bodega-style model for consumers at their usual brick-and-mortar locations. Additionally, Embarc is in the game for the community, culture, and craft of cannabis, emulated through their donations back to the community, quality grow, and more. They support legacy farmers and the new wave of pioneers growing in ethical and sustainable ways, which supports the culture and allows for social equity.
