gmo Strain Review Featuring The Grower's Choice Line From Glass House Farms In California

The GMO Strain Review Featuring Glass House Farms In California

Glass House Farms GMO flower is a heavy hitting indica strain created by crossing Chemdawg with Girl Scout Cookies. Sara Gibson produces this brilliant GMO. She considers consistency to be the key to quality, so this cultivar should be on point.

GMO stands for Garlic, Mushroom, Onion, an aptly descriptive acronym for this powerful strain’s aroma and taste. Those are all tasty ingredients on a pizza. (And the information card half-jokingly recommends pairing this GMO with pizza and a pillow.)

Glass House Farms takes pride in cultivating premium strains in sun-powered, state-of-the-art facilities to “deliver uncompromising craft- quality flower. Their version of this strain is “unusually pungent, extremely rich in cannabinoids, and packs a giant, heavy-hitting wallop of relaxation.”

In this West Coast Weed Tour Review, Jazisaurus joins Respect My Region’s Joey Brabo to sample Glass House Farms GMO and share thoughts on this savory strain.

First Impressions

A solid glass jar topped with a plastic screw-on lid keeps the flower fresh until you’re ready to use it. Glass House Farms GMO weighs in at 34.29 percent total cannabinoids, with 28.87 percent THC and 0.09 percent CBD.

Top terpenes include Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Humulene, and Limonene. Aroma and flavor are described as garlic, mushroom, loam, and diesel, and those distinct aromas fill the nostrils upon opening the jar. The gassy, diesel scent really stood out among the earthy, funky GMO notes.

After cracking a bud and smelling that deliciousness, we popped a snapper into our gorgeous Keith Haring bong, courtesy of Higher Standards. The first hit was pure joy, and Jazzasaurus couldn’t wait to take another toke.

Gassy diesel and garlic flavors were strong on the inhale. And at 34.29 percent cannabinoid content, this weed’s potent enough to give a super strong buzz after just the one hit.

Conclusion

After the second toke, a pleasant piney-earthy-garlicky-gassy flavor was undeniable. The second hit smacked us even more – its potency is just awesome. But it’s not harsh, just smooth and tasty.

After a thorough testing, Glass House Farms GMO received a 9.8 from @Jazisaurus. This high score from Jazi is notable, as she strongly prefers sativa strains.

Joey doesn’t care for GMOs as they’re too usually heavy. But this light-colored GMO bud was unlike any he’d smoked before. Brabo scored this GMO at 9.25, a decent high score for someone who doesn’t care for the strain in general. He particularly liked the aroma and the bud so thickly coated in trichomes they stuck to his fingers.

Overall, both Jazi and Joey agree this GMO is impressive in flavor, potency, and smoothness – a real gem for GMO lovers.
