The North American Weed Tour has sparked the creation of Respect My Region’s newest series: Gas or Trash. Hosted by Anthony “Mistah Cannabis,” the series showcases any and all undiscovered talent. The show will premiere on Instagram Live every Wednesday night at 7:10pm PST on the @respectmyregion.usa page.
Everyone can join, from rappers to singers to poets, comedians, and even crazy smokers. All kinds of artists are welcome to showcase their talent. Surprise guests from a wide variety of industry people, influencers, and comedians give their feedback. As for the audience, the rules of Gas or Trash are simple; the viewers give their opinion by leaving a quick comment.
So, if they’re rocking with it, they can place the fire or gas emojis (“?⛽️”). If it’s absolute garbage, the audience can use the trash can emojis (” ??”). Additionally, audience members can come on the show. “Just leave a comment and we will bring you up,” says Mistah Cannabis. “Talk too much shit in the comments, and we will request that you come into the show to back all those Twitter fingers up”.

From July 10 to December 15, 2022, the North American Weed Tour will review 500+ products and showcase brands across every category. With other series like Gas or Trash, Respect My Region will feature more than 100 industry leaders on the company’s YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch.

This is the brand’s second year running the NAWT campaign. They plan to take it up a notch this year through shows like Gas or Trash. “After last year’s overwhelmingly successful tour, we’re excited to scale the campaign to include more than just product reviews and podcast interviews,” says Joseph Brabo, co-owner of the company.
