Growing Like A Weed (GLW) is a 502 producer out of Spokane, WA. Established in 2014 by experienced cannabis cultivators. To produce top notch strains like Fruit Loops, GLW uses a variety of methods. A mixture of soil, compost tea, and worm castings all provide the essential nutrients for their cannabis. Included in their line of cannabis products are Pink Taco lighters.
For their grams, GLW packages their cannabis in glass jars. I prefer glass jars to plastic bags for a variety of reasons. They can be recycled and I think they help preserve the weeds freshness. Included on the Fruit Loops packaging are images of the famous kid’s cereal. This creates a nostalgic factor when indulging in the train. Maybe that is why I enjoyed it so much.
Fruit Loops is a cross between Grapefruit, Blueberry, Blue Dream, and White Widow. The unique combination of fruity genetics helps create this aromatic indica dominant hybrid. A topical aroma is the first smell I notice when cracking open the jar. The smell is sweet with subtle citrus notes. Each of the nugs in my jar was light and fluffy. A light green shade similar to ripening mangos coated each nug.
As I broke apart a nug to smoke, it felt like pulling apart velcro. The nug did not crumble in my hand, but it also did not stick to my fingers. The tropical flavor from my first rip and reggae blaring out of the speakers immediately put me on a beach with my toes in the sand. The high was mellow enough that I never felt overwhelmed at all. I was content sitting on my couch taking in the music and cool breeze coming through my window.
