Frenchyoso is no stranger to the Respect My Region blog, and for good reasons. The Seattle native rapper has been consistently putting out heat since we first featured him in 2018. A lot has been going on for Frenchyoso since we last featured him, including a new single ‘2 DFRNT’ released about a week ago.
‘2 DFRNT’ features Frenchyoso’s signature heavy delivery atop a bassy, hard hitting beat. The mix is all Tone Productions, seamlessly connecting the rowdy vocals with a hype beat. Frenchyoso is delivering a message with this track: he isn’t like all the other local rappers. Through braggadocious bars, he makes it known that he’s consistent, real, and always going up. And as always, there’s dope visuals to tie it all together.

What has Frenchyoso been up to?
Frenchyoso is from Seattle, born and raised, and still there to this day. Over the past year he spent a lot of time travelling, which has opened his eyes to other cultures and inspired him in brand new ways. As part of his travels, he was on tour as part of a series him and his team put together called “QUARANTOUR.” He hit a bunch of cities to perform, from rap hot spots, to specific areas that held a bunch of his fans.
What’s next for Frenchyoso?
There’s no slowing Frenchyoso down. He’s continuously working on new music, new visuals, and more shows. He has another project coming out with MikeJack3200 soon, which includes both new music and visuals. French also has new merchandise in the works, and more shows scheduled including one in Houston at VLIVE Nightclub.
According to the man himself, “I also have a dope move I’m finna make toward the end of this month that I can’t really speak on just yet but just know it’s gonna be EPIC. Some shìt I don’t think ANY Seattle rapper small or big has ever done and I’m bringing my guy Mafi D out wit me so it’s finna be a movie for sure, so stay tuned for that.”
