The US cannabis industry has grown tremendously over the past few years, and Massachusetts has proven to be one of the most promising markets with over $4 billion dollars in gross sales. The upcoming Flower Expo, a brand-new cannabis trade show, is set to boost and showcase the state’s growing industry with a two-day event.
Flower Expo
The B2B cannabis trade show is set to take place on June 14-15, 2023, at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Massachusetts, just a couple of hours from Boston. The event aims to be a unique opportunity for cannabis industry professionals to network and showcase their products. With 40+ exhibitors and 130+ retailers confirmed to attend so far, the event is set to be a groundbreaking one, driving new growth and movement in the Massachusetts cannabis industry.
Some of the most respected names in the local and national cannabis industry are set to attend the event, including Cookies, Bountiful Farms, Betty’s Eddies, Zig Zag, Ascend, The Botanist, Revolutionary Clinics, Her Highness, The Heirloom Collective, and more. The presence of these well-known brands will provide an excellent opportunity for retailers to discover and experience the best products that the market has to offer.
At the end of the first day from seven until midnight, there will be a free, open-to-the-public block party in downtown Greenfield, featuring local vendors. However, the main event is a private invitation-only event that is not open to the public.
Trusted Names and Brands in Cannabis
Flower Expo is not just a trade show, but a multi-day experience that brings together the best of cannabis brands and retailers through a unique event that aims to bring the community together to discover, experience and network with the brands behind the incredible products that Massachusetts has to offer. The Flower Expo team is composed of members from various cannabis brands and events, and they are working to develop and improve the legal framework as well as social normalization surrounding the plant.
The founder of Flower Expo, Jason Bello, is no stranger to the cannabis trade show industry, previously working at Hall of Flowers, a similar event taking place in California, Nevada, and Toronto. “The Massachusetts industry will benefit from the event immensely, we’re making a commerce platform for Brands to show Retailers their products and conduct business,” says Bello. Joining him to help launch the event is another former Hall of Flowers team member, Joseph Harold.
Big Hope Project
Flower Expo has partnered with the Big Hope Project, a grassroots 501(c)(3) organization led by two Haitian American brothers born and raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The price of a Flower Expo ticket is a donation to the Big Hope Project. Their mission is to support communities that have been unfairly impacted by the war on drugs by providing assistance that can break the cycle of recidivism. They provide free services such as record sealing and expungement, educational events, and outreach programs to inform people about the Massachusetts Cannabis Social Equity Program.
