The Flatbush Zombies, a rap group out of Brooklyn, New York finally dropped their greatly anticipated 19 track album, Vacation In Hell. If you’ve listened to their previous work, you understand that you’ll never know what you’re going to get from them. The beauty of that is that they remain creative and haven’t set up borders for themselves. They have no expectations from their fans and have essentially carved their own lane in the rap and hip-hop industry.
The 19 track, grunge rap album features Joey Bada$$, A$AP Twelvyy, Jadakiss, Dave B, and a few others. This is definitely an album that is worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for something different and understand the uniqueness of this rap group in 2018. I imagine going forward they will start to move towards the forefront of hip-hop and rap in their own respect as they hold their own genre. The trio was able to dive deeper into their art this time around and produce catchy tracks that were tied with emotional energy and lyrics to make meaningful songs. This might be their best work yet!
They will also be on tour in the days to come and will be in Seattle later this month at the Showbox SoDo on Saturday, Apr 28.
