When I started dealing with Evergreen Market budtenders, I dealt with a special budtender who taught me about all the different strains. They encouraged me to learn how to identify better cannabis and told me to work towards becoming someone who generally only consumes high-quality marijuana products.
I’m one of those weed snobs that lowkey hates getting help from people at pot shops. Since those first few experiences with that budtender, I’ve learned that there’s something special about shopping for weed and using my own skills and experiences to confidently pick out my own fire cannabis. Higher quality marijuana tends to be more expensive, but it is almost always better for your health, and oftentimes more effective than similar products using lower quality cannabis.

She taught me the in’s and out’s of indoor versus outdoor grown cannabis, machine-trimmed versus hand, and told me which companies and strains I should start asking about whenever I went to other shops. Sharing all of that knowledge was crucial to my understanding of what products are available and what effect they might have on me.
During my many visits to both Renton Evergreen Market locations, I’ve enjoyed being given the chance to take my time and discuss each product with the budtenders and managers. Both of the shops in Renton and the one in Auburn are staffed with great people. I haven’t felt rushed at any point and they have proven to be experienced enough to guide even the rudest customers from strain to strain. I’m all for new experiences and Evergreen Market provided the knowledge to change my habits for life. Shouts to their staff for everything they do to elevate the cannabis industry and community.
