District Atlanta
The District is one of the most popular EDM venues in Atlanta. While other venues offer a wide array of genres, District’s entire atmosphere is curated to fit EDM music. The venue features a one-of-a-kind kinetic light system made up of over 300 floating orbs. Paired with a state-of-the-art laser system, LED walls, and a best-in-class audio system, the venue creates an incredible audio/visual experience for attendees. The venue is also known to host world-renowned DJs like RL Grime, Steve Aoki, Fisher, and more.
Tabernacle
One of the oldest and most respected Rock, Rap, and EDM venues in Atlanta, The Tabernacle has become an iconic building in the city. The venue has a rich history that starts with its opening as a church and medical center in 1910. During the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, hosted in Atlanta, the building was converted into a House of Blues club. Since then, the venue has hosted some of the industry’s most famous artists. Flume, Bassnectar, and Ganja White Knight are just some of the big names to grace the EDM scene of ATL.
The Eastern
A relatively new EDM venue in Atlanta, the Eastern features a multi-leveled floor plan with top-of-the-line sound and lights. The venue’s multiple balconies make for unrivaled sight lines and plenty of space. Each floor contains a full-service bar as well as restrooms, making moving around the venue super easy during a crowded show. The venue is located just off the city’s Beltline.
Iris Presents
Iris is a high-energy nightclub dedicated to EDM music. The club has been at an EDM venue in Atlanta for over a decade. The venue is dedicated to preserving the spirit of EDM by “spreading joy, light, positivity, and fun to the community through imaginative, live, and interactive entertainment experiences”. Iris has won several awards including Creative Loafing’s Best Local Promoter, Best Weekly Club Night, Best Nightlife Event, Best Dance Music Club, Best After hours/late-night Spot, Best 18 + Club; and INsite Magazine’s Best of EDM.
Terminal West
Terminal West got its start as a foundry and eventually turned into an EDM venue in Atlanta. The venue is small; making for an intimate experience between artists and their audience. The venue features a full-service bar as well as a preserved aesthetic from the original factory. The venue hosts more than just EDM music, showcasing a full spectrum of music.
