Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records are making major news in the world of cannabis today. Announcing the launch of Death Row Cannabis’s new flower line, the historic record label shared that the first drop will debut next week at three Cookies locations in Southern California. The first locations include the Cookies Brentwood dispensary, Cookies San Bernardino, and Cookies San Diego.
Death Row Records was once one of, if not the most, poppin’ and/or respected record labels in the game. Promising to return the label to its glory days, the big d o double g has decided to push the brand into the cannabis industry.
According to the press release, the iconic rapper and legendary record label will collaborate with a highly regarded legacy cultivator known as AK. Hand-picked by Snoop himself, AK is a West Coast cultivator who currently holds the VP of Cultivation title for TRP Co, the company that partnered with Cookies to open and operate various Cookies retail locations.
With ties to WizardTrees, SMKRS, and historically being known as an expert exotic cannabis grower that works with strains like RS11 and Studio 54, AK is a prime example of someone who has the resume to grow really really good weed, super consistently. The first Death Row Cannabis drop, available exclusively at select Cookies locations in California, will feature strains like Strawberry Gary, SFV OG, Trop Cherry, and LA Runtz.
