After picking up some Cosa Nostra at the Cookies on Flamingo dispensary in Las Vegas, Joey was super excited to try it. The strain is a hybrid through and through, bred by Cookies and cultivated by the Grower Circle company. As a part of the North American Weed Tour, Respect My Region’s COO Joey Brabo tested this 50/50 hybrid strain.
The Cosa Nostra Strain
Cosa Nostra is Italian for “our thing,” a fitting name for the fan-favorite strain. According to Hytiva, the Cosa Nostra strain is a cross of Glow and Face on Fire #9 strains. This mix resulted in a bud that may help with focus, sleep, and appetite, potentially providing an uplifting and relaxing experience as well.

The Cosa Nostra Strain Review
This batch contained 27.73% THC, and 27.76% THC-A, noted on the back of the beautiful red and black mylar packaging. The packaging also indicated the strain has dominant terpenes of beta-myrcene at 3.9 mg, beta-caryophyllene at 10.3 mg, and o-limonene at 4.34 mg.
When he first opened the bag, he noticed the rumored attractive purple nugs that were glazed in a thick coat of trichomes and burnt orange hairs. Then he smelled the aroma of the nugs, noting a funky, sour, and gelato scent with spicy and minty notes. After rolling up, he lit the tip of the joint and enjoyed the earthy, piney, and light sour-diesel gassiness flavor that resonated with Joey. Ultimately, he thought the strain was refreshing to smoke and rated the strain 9.4 out of 10 on taste.
The bud received an overall score of 95 out of 100, with Joey saying it truly smoked like a balanced hybrid. Interested in seeing the full review? Check out the video below.
