CaliOkie Karoake is a couple owned business from Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Owned by Zechariah and Angela Boulant, CaliOkie is available for private booking. With their music library containing all sorts of genres, they are sure to have a song for everybody.
“I buy my own music.” Zechariah Boulant says he loves building up his library. Relying on the internet is not an option Boulant is fond of. If CaliOkie doesn’t have the song you want, Zechariah says he prefers purchasing the song so he has it for the future.
CaliOkie’s Mission
Growing up with many different kinds of music, Zechariah recalls having a very different taste in music. However, after being bullied himself, Zechariah does not stand for it. He says, “I’m not shy in telling people to stop making fun of other people.” Zechariah’s experiences have shaped his mission: he wants people to have fun and not worry about negative comments.
“It’s cool because when I said I was going to do this, we were going to be an alternative to others.”

Since Oklahoma is a country loving state, many karaoke businesses only do country music. To set themselves apart from their competition, CaliOkie offers everything from country to rap. “ “We do a little bit of everything. We offer everything for everyone.” Zechariah wants everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves.

CaliOkie enjoy setting up their equipment and giving folks a good time. Additionally, “We don’t make enough to quit our jobs,” Zechariah says, emphasizing that any money they make off a gig goes right back into the business. Furthermore, “Getting paid to do something I enjoy is a bonus,” highlighting their passion for what they do.
CaliOkie offers bookings for a variety of events, from birthday parties to bars. Specifically, you can catch CaliOkie on the second Saturday of the month at Pj’s Legacy in Cashion. Additionally, they perform on the third Saturday at the American Legion in El Reno, and on the fourth Saturday at Taber’s Bar in Watonga.
