Two of modern metal’s biggest voices are finally joining forces on an official track. Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes and Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante have teamed up with producer Grabbitz for “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight,” a new song created for Valorant and this year’s Valorant Champions tournament.
The collaboration was officially previewed in a new trailer showcasing Sykes and LaPlante recording their respective parts alongside footage from Riot Games’ popular tactical shooter. While an official release date for the full song has not been confirmed, “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” is expected to arrive later this fall.

Oli Sykes And Courtney LaPlante Finally Collaborate
For fans of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox, the pairing has been a long time coming. LaPlante has joined Bring Me The Horizon on stage multiple times over the years, but “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” marks an opportunity for Sykes and LaPlante to release something they created together.
The song was produced across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom, bringing three artists from different corners of heavy and electronic music into the same project. From the preview, “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” combines industrial production and electronic elements with massive melodic hooks and the heavier vocals Sykes and LaPlante are known for.
Grabbitz described the collaboration as a meeting between his electronic background and the heavier worlds represented by Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox.
“The three of us just clicked,” he said, calling the finished track what he believes to be the best Valorant anthem yet.
LaPlante also credited Sykes with turning the song into a genuine collaboration once the recording process began.
Valorant Continues Connecting Gaming And Music
The collaboration also continues Valorant’s growing relationship with artists outside the gaming world.
Sykes explained that projects combining music and storytelling have always interested him, making the opportunity to become part of the Valorant universe a natural fit.
“If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” will serve as the anthem for Valorant Champions 2026, bringing the collaboration to one of the biggest stages in competitive gaming.
This year’s tournament will conclude in Shanghai, China, with the final stage running from September 24 through October 18. Sixteen of the world’s top Valorant teams will compete for the championship.
