Action Bronson is back with the recklessly entertaining White Bronco, the first project independent project since leaving Atlantic Records. White Bronco is an audible representation of Bronson’s freedom; a return to the fast-paced bar hopping style that gave the big-bodies rapper a cult following.
Previous projects like Mr. Wonderful and Blue Chips 7000 showed Bronson’s in a more musical light, while White Bronco allows the rapper to flow and rhyme undeterred and unfiltered. Bronson brings along his trusted partners in crime Mayhem Lauren and Big Body Bess and heavy hitter A$AP Rocky for this Brooklyn/east coast bravado fueled musical romp.
White Bronco’s album artwork is visually stunning and painted by Bam Bam Baklava himself. An odd assortment of bold colors and simple shapes arranged into a violently creepy aesthetic. Bronson’s last two releases have been covered with personal paintings.
