Throughout history, cannabis has had a mixed reputation despite its many potential benefits. In addition, many people of color have been locked up due to the use or sale of cannabis. This caused many users to go into hiding to avoid legal repercussions. However, since marijuana is legal now in many states, including Massachusetts, many consumers are starting to come out and speak on the effects this plant truly has.
Anxiety & Stress Relief
Recently, several Boston residents and artists responded to a Diggity Dom post asking if cannabis has helped them. If users partook in the use of cannabis, we also inquired about how they consumed it. The majority of people that replied stated that they smoke joints and use edibles here and there. Furthermore, local Boston artist Vision Tha Dreamer said:
“I mainly use blunts and sometimes joints. But cannabis specifically eases my anxiety, and helps me be more calm in certain situations.”
